Thanks to his fans, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson can now add another title to his already impressive collection – expert selfie-taker!
At the London premiere of his new film San Andreas, the former wrestler set a new record for the most selfies taken in just three minutes. He reportedly snapped a total of 105 selfies with individual fans at the premiere, proving he truly is the selfie king!
According to the Huffington Post, Dwayne had to follow a set of ‘selfie rules’ to make sure he qualified for the world record. That included making sure the full face and neck of each selfie participant was showing, and the photos had to be in focus as well!
The Rock shared this photo from the premiere on Instagram.
The actor now has an official Guiness World Record under his belt thanks to his mammoth efforts at the premiere, and he happily accepted the certificate on stage. Ever the gentleman, The Rock also made sure to thank all the fans who took part in the selfie marathon.
“I gotta say, thank you so much, I could not have done it without everyone who was helping me,” he told the crowd.
