Hollywood stars Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have broken up after 10 years together, just days after the actress turned 40.
Reps for both celebs have confirmed the news to media outlets, but say the pair will stay friends.
“Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends,” their spokespeople told People.

The couple, who were never married despite many engagement rumours over the years, were last seen together in New York the day after Diane celebrated her birthday.
In March this year, the couple moved into a home in New York. Us reports that Diane had previously been travelling back and forth between Paris and Vancouver, but made the big move to be closer to her actor beau as he appeared in his off-Broadway play ‘Smart People’.
On Instagram yesterday, Diane seemed to hint at changes in her relationship with a cryptic quote from Jimi Hendrix.
“The story of life is quicker than the wink of an eye. The story of love is hello and good-bye until we meet again,” the quote reads.
Joshua, 38, previously dated his Dawson’s Creek co-star Katie Holmes and actress Rosario Dawson, while Diane was married to French director/actor Guillaume Canet for five years.
In a 2011 interview with Glamour, Troy actress Diane revealed that she wasn’t a big believer in the idea of marriage.

“I was married very young. We were together seven years. Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don’t believe in marriage,” she told the magazine.
“I believe in a commitment that you make in our heart. There’s no paper that will make you stay. A guy friend of mine said, and it made a lot of sense, that people should get married at the end of the road, not the beginning.”
