Victoria and David Beckham celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary yesterday by giving fans a look back at the day they tied the knot in a fairytale ceremony at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.
In one photo shared by David, the young couple are seen holding hands and looking solemn as the ceremony gets underway. The footballer’s crisp white suit matched his wife’s gorgeous ivory gown perfectly on the big day, while Victoria accessorised her chic pixie cut with a glittering tiara.
David shared this throwback glimpse at his wedding on Instagram.
“Wow 17 years ago to his day this happened … I was lucky to meet someone who has the same drive and wanted the same things in life,” David captioned the image.
“We have created 4 beautiful children and I couldn’t wish for a more loving and caring mummy for them … Happy anniversary, I love you.”
Meanwhile, Victoria shared her own sweet dedication to her husband with her Instagram post.

“I feel so loved and truly blessed. My best friend, my love. The kindest man who inspires me every day,” she wrote, alongside a picture of the newlyweds embracing.
“Happy Anniversary to the best husband and daddy in the world!! Ever! #HappilyEverAfter,” she continued, tagging both David and her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham in the post.
The A-list couple tied the knot in 1999 after dating for two years, and are now the proud parents of four children – 17-year-old Brooklyn, 13-year-old Romeo, 11-year-old Cruz and four-year-old Harper.

In an interview with fashion website Hashtaglegend.com earlier this year, Victoria gushed about her hubby and his extensive charity work.
“David is such an incredible father, a great husband. I do a lot of work with UNAIDS and David inspires me so much with the amount he’s done for charities and the amount he’s given back,” she revealed.
“He’s a really good person and he does an enormous amount for other people.”
