Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is working his magic on his fans in Aotearoa, conjuring up a charm offensive whenever he ventures out.
It was all smiles and selfies when we spotted the diminutive 28-year-old actor leaving Auckland grocery store Farro with his girlfriend of five years, actress Erin Darke, 33, after earlier having his photo taken with excited shop staff.
“How often do you see Harry Potter in your workplace?” raved one store worker after the magical experience. Another added, “Daniel, you were so lovely and you make everyone’s day when you come in.”
As well as the swanky supermarket, the star has also been taking in some of New Zealand’s natural beauty, fitting in a whale-watching tour on the Hauraki Gulf in between shooting upcoming action movie Guns Akimbo.
Daniel seems to be taking preparation for the film seriously, working out at an inner-city gym, where he slogs it out with personal trainer Tobi Englert, and stocking his pantry with only the most wholesome food. But it’s not all healthy – he was also seen puffing away on hand-rolled cigarettes.
What a drag! Daniel has a sneaky puff.
