Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley has shown off how far she’s come on her weightloss journey, in a recent video posted to social media.
The 32-year-old star, who has played Eva Price on the British soap since 2011, is most often seen sporting slim-fit dresses on and off screen – but her teenage years were a different story.
But during her youth, Catherine has revealed she was a size 22 and weighed 15 stone, and that she’s also “done every diet going.”
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Catherine also revealed losing the weight made her pickier when it came to men, as they “all wanted to buy me a drink when I was slim but I said no. Because they didn’t want to buy me one when I was fat.”

Revealing she keeps a cardboard cut-out of her former frame at home, “fat Cath” made an appearance in a recent bakeoff video the actress posted to Instagram.
As Catherine attempts to bake a cake, “fat Cath” keeps making an appearance from behind her oven.
Earlier this year, Catherine married long term boyfriend Tom Pitfield, who works as a personal trainer.
The slender actress donned a stunning white lace gown for her big day, and was joined by some of her Coro cast mates for support.
