The All of Me singer and his model wife are understandably over the moon about their new arrival, after going through IVF to get pregnant following years of trying.
30-year-old Chrissy shared a snap of her and her first born cuddled up together on Tuesday, while proud dad John shared a photo of his brown eyed girl later in the week. See his shot by clicking here.
On Sunday, Chrissy and John announced the birth of their daughter on social media.
“She’s here!” Chrissy wrote excitedly on Instagram.
“Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy.”
The model also revealed that Luna came in at a health 6 pounds, 11 ounces.
Chrissy and John struggled to conceive over the course of their relationship, eventually undergoing IVF and choosing to have a little girl.
The fact that the couple chose the sex of their baby ignited some debate online, with many arguing this shouldn’t be allowed.
Always outspoken, Chrissy wrote back: “What is the difference though? I’ve already created embryos with a doctor. Only after it must be random?”
She went on to joke that she also picked an embryo with “a taste for bacon, a knack for magic and size 7 feet so she can always find shoes.”
“What year is this?! And for the record, I am always happy and open to speak on infertility.”
The couple announced they were expecting on social media back in October, posting a gorgeous snap of John tenderly touching his wife’s belly.
Chrissy then revealed their struggle to get there, saying they would have had kids years ago if they could have.
