On the first series of The Bachelor New Zealand, the show’s bitchy breakout star Chrystal Chenery was full of surprises – but one we never saw coming was her past relationship with Jordan Mauger.
At the tender age of 23, Chrystal was introduced to fellow Cantabarian Jordan, TV3’s newest bachelor, by mutual friends. The bolshie blonde and the film director, who was 25 at the time, hit it off immediately. And after a passionate but brief three weeks together, they jetted off to Vancouver where their romance blossomed.
“It sounds a bit crazy, but we were young, we didn’t have any responsibilities and we were having fun, so we just thought why not?,” Chrystal, 31, tells Woman’s Day exclusively.
“He’s everything you’d want in a boyfriend, he’s fun and exciting and always up for an adventure.”
