Beloved rock and roll star Tom Petty, lead singer of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, died at the age of 66. Over the last 40 years he released 13 albums with The Heartbreakers and three solo albums. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.

Hugh Hefner, founder of Playboy magazine, passed away at the age of 91. Hefner founded the half a billion dollar enterprise in 1953 and created the iconic Playboy bunny look.

Jerry Lewis, American comedian, actor, singer and screenwriter, passed away at age 91. Lewis was most famous for his slapstick style humour on TV, radio, and stage. Lewis was also nicknamed the “king of comedy”.

Bennington is widely recognised for his powerful voice, with Billboard saying he “helped define a generation of the hard rock sound.” Bennington tragically took his life on his friend Chris Cornell’s birthday after Cornell had passed just months earlier.

AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young and co-founder of AC/DC passed away at age 64. The talented Australian star left behind a strong legacy with stars such as Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen and Paul Stanley expressing their admiration of him. AC/DC are famous for their classic tracks “Back to Black”, “Hells Bells” and “Highway to Hell”.
