This year marks not one, but two special milestones for Carly Flynn and her husband Dave.
The couple, who have been together for 17 years, will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary this month. But even more special is the news that their family will be getting a new member!
The proud parents-of-two received a happy surprise earlier this year when Carly found out she was pregnant with a sibling for six-year-old Tilly and four-year-old Jude.
Carly and Dave, a freelance cameraman, had been undecided about having a third child, but in the end, it was fate that intervened.
“I am really excited now, but there’s still a feeling of shock. I still can’t quite believe I’m sitting here talking about being pregnant!” Carly tells Woman’s Day.
Carly, who juggles radio, TV and writing gigs with her busy home life, knows the arrival of her tiny tot will have a big impact on her current routine. But the former TV3 reporter reveals she can’t wait to welcome her youngest child into the world.
And of course, little Tilly and Jude are over the moon about their new sibling and have their fingers crossed for a brother.
