Cara Delevingne hits back after awkward interview

After Cara Delevingne’s visibly awkward interview with hosts on Good Day Sacramento appeared online, many fans were left wondering what had happened.

Now the model and actress has taken to Twitter to speak out about the incident, seemingly laying the blame on the hosts misunderstanding her ‘British humour’. She also retweeted several users who defended her behaviour during the interview.

In the clip, Cara and the interviewers have a stilted conversation about the film and Cara’s role within it. The interviewers wrongly introduce her as ‘Carla’ and as the interview went on, they called her out for seeming less enthusiastic about the project.

“You do seem a bit irritated. Perhaps it’s just us,” one interviewer said.

“Yeah, I think it’s you,” Cara replied.

When Cara signed off, the three hosts proceeded to analyse her attitude during the interview, with one saying she was “in a mood”.

“You make $5 million dollars for six weeks worth of work, you can pretend to talk to Good Day Sacramento with some oomph,” another said.
