The decision to cancel the show was reportedly mutual, and yesterday an E! spokesperson released the following statement.

“We are incredibly proud of the two seasons of I Am Cait,’ a groundbreaking docu-series that sparked an important and unprecedented global conversation about transgender people, their struggles and triumphs.”

Caitlyn confirmed the news this morning with a tweet to her fans.

“After two amazing seasons of @IAmCait, it’s time for the next adventure.”

E! Channel has said that Caityn will always remain a part of the E! family, and will continue to feature on TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
