The Fair Go reporter took to social media this morning to announce the news that she will be joining Breakfast in a new sports presenter role, where she will be based “out on the road” covering all sports-related stories.
“It is the most amazing opportunity. I love me a bit of sport, so to be able to incorporate it into work is a dream!” she told Stuff.
“I’ve always been involved in sport in some way – you just ask double Olympic gold medallist Lisa Carrington and she’ll tell you about my mad Surf Life Saving skills. Then ring Dad and ask him how passionate I am about the Warriors!” she said.
A TVNZ spokesperson has confirmed the news that Brodie will start at Breakfast on September 19th.
“I’m really sad to be leaving Fair Go, but ridiculously excited about this new adventure!” said Brodie.
After months of speculation, last week TVNZ confirmed the new hosts of *Breakfast* to be Hilary Barry and Jack Tame.
