Bradley Cooper and his girlfriend Irina Shayk appeared to have a very different kind of match than the one happening on court at the Wimbledon men’s final.

The pair appeared to be right in the middle of an argument during the action-packed event, sitting in seemingly tense silence with Irina refusing to look at her movie star beau.

The awkward exchange was captured on camera and quickly sparked plenty of discussion online, with everyone speculating whether the couple were really in the middle of a standoff or simply caught during an off moment.

At one point during the match, a stony-faced Irina appeared to turn away and wipe what looked to be tears from her eyes as Bradley looked on at his model girlfriend.

The two were photographed having a seemingly tense exchange during the match.

Twitter users were quick to speculate on what was really going on between the photogenic couple, with one user piping up, “Irina Shayk was so pissed at Bradley Cooper that she deemed reading a book upside-down more appealing than a convo”.

Many speculated the awkward exchange was due to the fact that Bradley’s ex, Suki Waterhouse, was also in the building.

The duo’s behaviour at the event raised more than a few eyebrows online.

It was a very different story earlier on in the tournament, with the two showing plenty of PDA while watching the previous matches.

However, a source has since come forward to refute the claims, telling E! Online that there was no argument.

“They were not fighting. Everything is fine,” the source revealed.

Meanwhile, other reports claim that Irina was simply suffering from a case of bad hay fever on the day, causing her to tear up.

Bradley and Irina looked all loved-up during their other appearances at Wimbledon.
