The actor hosted a private screening for the film Moonlight, in LA.

Joining him to support the new film, which is backed by his production company, Plan B, was his longtime friend Julia Roberts.

Dressed in a plaid shirt and black suit, the 51-year-old smiled for cameras as his Ocean’s Eleven co-star embraced him.

The duo chatted with the film’s writer-director, Barry Jenkins, and star Trevante Rhodes.

Brad and Julia have been fab friends for years and starred in the Hollywood blockbusters Ocean’s Eleven and The Mexican.

The dad-of-six has avoided the spotlight since the announcement of his divorce to Angelina Jolie back in September.

In fact, the Hollywood actor cancelled his highly-anticipated promotional appearance for his film Voyage of Time to focus on his “family situation.”

Angelina filed for divorce on September 19, citing irreconcilable differences.

The starlet also requested that she receive sole physical custody of their six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Earlier this week, a representative for the actress advised that the estranged couple reached an agreement over their children.

The children will remain in Angie’s custody and Brad, who continues to retain shared legal custody, will have visitation rights.

While an agreement has been made, some sources believe Brad will still fight for the kids.

A legal source chatted to Us Weekly about the former couple’s new agreement, explaining that it “doesn’t make sense in light of” Brad’s filing.

“Brad’s filing demonstrates that he’s going to fight for the kids,” the insider said.

“His filing shows that he is going to stand firm on sharing custody of the kids. It’s a clear sign that he’s going to fight for his right for the kids.”
