Antonio Banderas was rushed to hospital from his home in England after suffering chest pains over the weekend.
The Mask of Zorro star was exercising at home when he felt “agonising pains in his chest”.
An ambulance was called and Banderas was taken to St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey.
The actor has since tweeted he is doing well, telling fans he is “enjoying nature after a startle” alongside a photo with Dutch investment consultant girlfriend, Nicole Kimpel.
Banderas has been living in the UK from 2015, and has previously spoken about his decision to move to the English countryside.
“This house gives me the simplicity and freedom I need in my life at the moment. I find Surrey magical,” he told HELLO! magazine.
“I am not a party person any more so I have the space and peace to write and really get inside my own head – I am working on several scripts.”
