Highlighter 101

The fast track to shining bright like a diamond.

Glowing skin is forever number one on the list of summer must-haves, and this season we’ve noticed a bevy of new make-up products that pack a punch in this department, with words such as ‘holographic’ and ‘iridescent’ being used to describe the array of recently launched beautifers.

As an introduction to this trend, Auckland-based make-up artist Seb Tomlinson suggests applying a slick of metallic lip gloss over your favourite lipstick to change it up.

“Alternatively, sweep a high-shine cream shadow over your lids, paying extra attention to the inner corners by highlighting with a light luminising colour to lift.”
