WATCH: Beauty blogger with cancer films her brain surgery

A popular beauty blogger has bravely shared her experience of having a tumour removed.

While Youtube stars typically share a lot of their lives with their online fans, one popular beauty blogger has taken it a step further and filmed herself getting a tumour removed.

Two months ago, Courtney Elizabeth Warner known as “Courtelizz1” took to her Youtube channel to share the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with stage three brain cancer.

The 26-year-old who is also a primary school teacher has now undergone brain surgery to remove the tumour — and shared a video of the operation with her 135,000 YouTube subscribers.

“I wanted to show you guys how it was for me, all the way from the beginning, all the way to the end. From my perspective.”

While the video, which has been viewed over 200,000 times, does not show any graphic footage such as blood or brain matter – at one point during the procedure Courtney can be shown having a seizure.

“I had to talk the whole time,” she explains in the introduction.

“There is one time during the operation where I had a seizure [mid-sentence]. It’s not very horrible to watch. You just see my face freaking out and not knowing what to say.”

Doctors have since confirmed that the operation was successful, as they were able to remove 95 per cent of the tumour and Courtney will now undergo chemotherapy.
