The big screen’s brightest stars are currently getting primed and prepped for Hollywood’s party of the year, the 2018 Golden Globe Awards.

While some say you should wait for the dramatic red carpet reveal, our fave celebs are taking to Instagram early to share their pre-game prep, giving us a sneak peek at their stunning Golden Globes looks before their grand arrivals.

Oprah Winfrey

The 2018 Golden Globes will be an extra special year for the media mogul who will be presented with a lifetime achievement award. Oprah took to Instagram to show her awards show prep, which included a fresh hair colour.

When asked what look her glam squad would be creating for the megastar Oprah’s make-up artist responded: “Pretty and clean and sexy.” Her hairstylist added, “Tousled and sexy.” We can’t wait to see the finished look!

From Oprah Winfrey’s hair colourist touching up the superstar’s grey strands to Susan Sarandan sharing a selfie from bed, we have all the pre-show snaps.

Susan Sarandon

Like many women who will walk the Golden Globes red carpet today, Susan Sarandon will be wearing black.

“Today I will wear black in solidarity and gratitude with all women in all industries, acknowledging our mutual power and vulnerability. #TimesUp on silence, on imbalance of power, on inaction,” she captioned her selfie from bed.

Diane Kruger

Diane always tops Best Dressed lists, but that doesn’t mean the German beauty doesn’t get nervous before her red carpet walk. She posted this birds-eye snap of the Golden Globes carpet from her hotel room, adding the caption: “GG. #slightlynervousImeanfreakingout”.

Renee Bargh

The Aussie TV presenter has a big job chatting to all the stars on the Golden Globes red carpet, so looking fresh is a must. To keep her complexion hydrated, the Extra host called on fellow Aussie beauty Jessica Gomes’ skincare brand Equal Beauty.

Reese Witherspoon

Instead of posting the usual pre-awards glam shots, actress Reese Witherspoon is sharing snaps of herself with her Hollywood peers who today will all be supporting the #TimesUp protest against sexual harassment, abuse and discrimination.

Here, the Big Little Lies star is posing with fellow actresses Laura Dern, Emma Stone, Lena Dunham, Susan Sarandon, Rashida Jones, America Ferrera, Tracee Elis Ross, Michelle Williams and Meryl Streep to name a few.

We can expect all these women to wear black as part of the campaign.
