Congratulations to country music singer Shania Twain, who is reportedly engaged to boyfriend Frederic Thiebaud!
Her Swiss beau apparently proposed to the From this Moment on crooner two months ago while the pair was holidaying in Switzerland, but Shania was only just spotted wearing an engagement ring this week.
“I’ve never seen Shania so happy,” says a close friend.
Frederic was previously married to Shania’s best friend, Marie-Anne, but that relationship broke up when Shania’s husband at the time left her for Marie-Anne.
Shania and Frederic then became close to each other in the wake of their separations.
“We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up,” writes Shania on her website. “We’ve become stronger and closer through it all.”
