Congratulations are in order for Kiwi singer-songwriter Ladyhawke (also known as Pip Brown) and her wife, Madeleine Sami!
The “My Delirium” singer has announced she is pregnant, taking to Instagram to share a photo of her growing baby bump.
“Yep! Your eyes do not deceive you. That is indeed a messy bedroom. #ohandimpregnant #dueinoctober” she captioned the casual snap, which showed her rocking jeans and a form-fitting tank top that showed off her blossoming bump.
Ladyhawke isn’t the only Kiwi musician to share her baby joy. Close pal and fellow singer Gin Wigmore – who is also expecting her own bundle of joy come September – also joined her friend for a photo where they posed bump to bump.
“Friends that grow babies together, stay together,” Gin captioned her post.
Ladyhawke and Madeleine tied the knot in January 2015 in a private ceremony. The couple first met at the 2009 New Zealand Music Awards, where they were introduced by another Kiwi star, Ash vs Evil Dead and Xena: Warrior Princess actress Lucy Lawless.
