Rugby star Israel Dagg and his wife Daisy have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Arlo Henry Dagg.
The tiny tot was born April 9, and his proud parents took to social media to document his arrival into the world with Israel sharing a black and white photo of baby Arlo’s little feet on Instagram.
“Welcome wee fella .. .baby Arlo Henry Dagg born April 9,” he captioned the image.
“Both mum and baby doing super well … best day of our lives … so proud of my amazing wife @daisydagg love you so much,” he continued.
Daisy, meanwhile, shared the same photo on her own Instagram, revealing Arlo weighed in at a healthy 6.5 pounds.
“His dad and I are over the moon and so in love already,” she gushed.
This is the first child for the couple, who met as teens at a high school dance and quickly became inseparable. They tied the knot two years ago in a fairytale ceremony at Hawke’s Bay’s picturesque Mana Lodge.

When Woman’s Day spoke to the couple earlier this year ahead of the birth, both Izzy and Daisy couldn’t contain their excitement at the impending addition to their family.
“I want him to be honest,” Izzy said, when asked about what valued he wanted to instil in his son.
“I don’t want him to be shy. I want him to be really kind and easily approachable. And I want him to work hard because Daisy and I have both had to.”
Daisy, meanwhile, revealed it was important to her that their boy grew up with a sense of “romance and chivalry”.
“I want to bring romance and chivalry back,” smiles Daisy.
“I want to teach him how to respect women and the elderly. And I come from a farming background, so playing outdoors is really important – simple things like racing down hills on cardboard boxes, and hunting, fishing and golf!”
