We know it’s bad to put someone on a pedestal, but we just can’t help it when it comes to Brit celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
Over the course of his illustrious cooking career, we’ve seen Jamie bloom from a floppy-haired twenty-something to a self-assured presenter, restaurateur and family man.
And it’s his touching bond with wife of fifteen years, Jules, that really gets us every time.
On Sunday, Jamie reminded us why he really is the picture of a perfect husband and father, as he posted a touching tribute to his wife and mother on Instagram.
“Happy Mother’s Day jools! Happy Mother’s Day mum! Two amazing mums that I’m truly grateful for every day…..love you….treats and home made cards to go …… big love to all the mums out there today x x x x x”
The 41-year-old was also quick to assure his mum he’d be cooking her dinner that day, while suggesting his kids should get busy in the kitchen cooking for theirs.
Last week, Jamie wrote a beautiful message to his 15-year-old daughter Poppy, telling her it was the “best day of my life.”
“What a beautiful person you have grown into. I’m so proud of you and the woman you have become big love and have a fantastic day. daddy xxxxxxxxx”
Jamie and Jools have five children together: Poppy, 15, Daisy, 13, Petal, 7, Buddy Bear, 6, River Rocket, 7 months.
