It’s always disappointing when you have a vase of your favourite blooms that doesn’t last more than three days.
If you want to try and keep your flowers fresher for longer, try these simple tips (although maybe not all at once!):
1 Trim stalks on the diagonal
2 Put a silver coin in the water
3 Sprinkle sugar into the water
4 Add 2 tsp sugar and 2 tbsp vinegar to the water
5 Add a pinch of baking soda to the water
6 Add a few drops of bleach to the water
