In news that will surprise, confuse and delight you, the new face of Victoria Beckham’s autumn/winter collection has been revealed and it’s none other than Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman.
VB made the announcement on Instagram with a pic of Nicole doing her modelling thing, stating she “looks beautiful” in the campaign. No arguments here but for starters, who was even aware these two knew each other and for second, why has this not happened sooner as we literally could not think of a more perfect choice?! Class modelling class.
It’s not the first time Nic has modelled professionally, she’s appeared on countless magazine covers, including Vogue, and starred in a campaign after campaign for high-end brand Jimmy Choo. She’s also currently the face of Neutrogena so she certainly knows her way around a studio camera.
Nicole is also a genuine fan of Victoria’s fashion line, snapped at a 2014 movie screening wearing a cape from VB’s then-collection.
Fans were quick to give their tick of approval on Vic’s top-notch selection.
Victoria is forever looking to expand her fashion empire and no doubt Nic is going to help her take over the world. It was only this week VB launched a collection with Target US, at a chic garden party in LA. The guest list including Jessica Alba and Zoe Saldana.
Nicole has yet to speak out about being the face of the new collection although she’s probably just a little busy with Big, Little Lies. We could not be keener to see the rest of the images from the shoot though. If they’re anything like one we’ve been gifted with already this might even rival that epic 2004 Chanel No.5 commercial she did with Baz Luhrmann.
