The Block NZ: Rooftop terrace reveal

The teams reveal their rooftop terraces on week eleven of The Block NZ.

With stunning views all round, the teams had a lot to live up to with this week’s rooftop terrace room reveal challenge on The Block NZ.

As the reigning champs (with no less than six room reveal wins under their belt) brothers-in-law Andy and Nate were flying high with plenty of cash to spare, and Team Yellow made the most of it by adding plenty of features to their outdoor space.

Meanwhile, Christchurch brothers Ling and Zing opted for a wooden deck feel for their rooftop terrace, finishing it off with a monochromatic colour scheme for their outdoor table and chairs.

Stace and Yanita had arguably the biggest advantage going into the challenge with the highest elevation of all the houses, affording even better views from their rooftop terrace. Team Orange maximised those stunning views with a polished outdoor area that featured tiling throughout, and a Scandi-inspired outdoor furniture set.

Julia and Ali pulled into the lead this week, producing a whimsical rooftop terrace that the judges described as a “Garden of Eden” – and the girls were rewarded with a win for their efforts.
