She triumphed in her first Redemption Island duel against ex-Army veteran Tony, but a balancing act challenge against rival Georgia put an end to Izzy’s Survivor hopes once and for all.

On last night’s episode of the TVNZ 2 reality show, the 30-year-old oil rig steward from Auckland was the fifth person eliminated from the competition after having spent a total of 14 days in the game.

Reflecting on her Survivor journey, Izzy reveals how the “social element” (as well as luck) played a large part of the game, and the frustration she felt at repeatedly being in danger of elimination.
