Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge have revealed the name of their newborn son.

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge have revealed the name of their newborn son: George Alexander Louis.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis. The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge,”‘ Kensington Palace said in a statement.

The couple have kept with royal tradition by having a first name that has been used by six previous monarchs.
