Relying on a few trusty staples means Catherine’s wardrobe is versatile and classic. As a clear lover of fashion, she adds in a few updated pieces each season to ensure she’s always on trend.

Duchess Catherine wore a gorgeous coat dress designed by Eponine when she visited the Anna Freud Children’s Centre on January 11, her first official engagement of 2017.

Attending London’s Institute of Contemporary Art on January 17, Catherine wore an Erdem dress to discuss her Heads Together campaign.

Duchess Catherine’s latest event

Stepping out on February 6 on behalf of their mental health charity, Heads Together, Prince William, Duchess Catherine and Prince Harry worked up a sweat as they raced against each other at the London Marathon Community Track at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

Catherine attended the Guild of Health Writers event on February 7 at Chandos House in chilly London in February wearing a plum Oscar de la Renta outfit.

The Duchess stole the show at the 2017 BAFTA awards in February in a custom-made, floor-length gown from British designer Alexander Queen, who also designed her wedding dress in 2011.

She stepped out for an engagement at the Royal Air Force base in Cambridgeshire on February 14, wearing a scarlet red, military-inspired peacoat by designer Philosphy Di Lorenzo Serafin.

At a celebration for British and Indian culture held at Kensington Palace on February 27, Catherine wore a sparkling metallic and pink silk dress designed by Erdem for the occasion.

Duchess Catherine wore a trusty wardrobe staple, her blue Rebecca Taylor skirt and jacket set, to the opening of the Ronald McDonald House Evelina in London on February 28.

The Duke and Duchess arrive in Paris in March ahead of their whirlwind trip with Kate in an emerald Catherine Walker coat, one her favourite colours.

While watching a tight game of rugby between Wales and France, the Duchess wore a bright red Carolina Herrera coat, which she also wore on her trip to Canada in 2016.

While in Paris, Duchess Catherine wore a black Alexander McQueen shift dress, in a luxurious, textured material. She accessorised the simple dress with a statement pearl necklace and matching ring.

To celebrate their stay in Paris, the royal couple were the guests of honour at a dinner thrown at the British Embassy. The Duchess wore a shimmering, pale blue Jenny Packham dress.

While in Paris in March, the Duchess wowed in a Chanel jacket and matching skirt on their first royal tour of the French capital.

Kate chose a red gingham two-piece, designed by Eponine London for her visit to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists on March 24.

The Duchess of Cambridge attended a gala at the National Portrait Gallery in London on March 28, 2017 in an emerald gown by Temperley London.
