While they shocked the world with the news of their unexpected divorce filing last week, star couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gave a very telling interview to our A-List Insider, Dominic Bowden, at a premiere for their film By The Sea last year.
In the film – which was written and directed by Angelina – the pair played an on-screen married couple battling serious relationship troubles. At the time, Angelina insisted that the dramas playing out in front of the cameras were not her and Brad’s personal issues.
The film came out last year, several months before their relationship came to a very public end last week.
Angelina filed for divorce after two years of marriage (and over a decade together) with Brad, requesting sole custody of the couple’s six children.
“Angelina is devastated that it has come to this, but will do everything in her power to protect her family,” a source told Us.
