Leonardo DiCaprio was riding high after his deserved win yesterday at the Oscars, and it showed during a candid moment captured during an interview in the press room after the ceremony.
When a reporter asked the 41-year-old about winning his first Oscar (after a total of six nominations), the actor couldn’t keep the grin off his face as he held the gold statue close.
“Yeah, it’s the first,” he said. “Like I said, I’m just incredibly grateful.
Earlier in the night, The Revenant star was also filmed reacting to his Oscar getting engraved with his name.
“Do you do this every year?” he asked the engraver, before going on to joke, “I wouldn’t know.”
