Kim Kardashian has always been Kanye West’s staunchest supporter over the controversial Taylor Swift reference in his song, ‘Famous’, which made headlines for its risqué lyrics and equally divisive music video.
Now, the reality star seems to have shared definitive proof that Taylor really did know about the song, and she’s shared it with the world on Snapchat.
In the video clip, Kanye can be seen reciting the notorious line – ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex’ – over the phone with someone who appears to be Taylor Swift. However, he is not recorded saying the second line, which continues, ‘Why? I made that b—h famous’.

The woman on the end of the line can be heard thanking Kanye for giving her advance notice about the song.
“I mean, it’s like a compliment,” she says of the line.
“Go with whatever line you think is better. I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice,” Taylor continues. Later in the video, she adds, “I’m really glad that you had the respect to call me and tell me that as a friend, about the song.
“It’s a really cool thing of you…and a really good show of friendship. So thank you.”
“I just had a responsibility to you as a friend. Thanks for being so cool about it,” Kanye replies.
“Relationships are more important than punch lines, you know?” he continues.
Later on in the video, Taylor even floats the idea of talking about the song while on the red carpet at the Grammys – the same event where she went on stage and took a not-so-subtle dig at Kanye in her acceptance speech.
“Right after the song comes out I’m gonna be on the Grammy red carpet, and they’re gonna ask me about it, and I’m gonna be like, he called me,” she says.
Kanye and Kim have long claimed that they had a recording of the phone call where Taylor gave her blessing for the song – and in a clip from Keeping Up With The Kardashians this week, Kim implied Taylor purposely denied the story to gain more attention.

At the time the song was released, a rep for Taylor said the ‘Shake it Off’ singer did have a phone call with Kanye, but she never approved the track.
“Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since. Taylor has never denied that conversation took place,” the rep said.
“It was on that phone call that Kanye West also asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do. Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term, ‘that b—h’ in referencing her. A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift.”
Taylor has since shared her own response to the scandal on her Facebook page, writing, “Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b—h’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened”.
“You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b—h’ in front of the entire world. Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship.”

Shortly before releasing the video on her Snapchat, Kim took to Twitter to post a clue at what was about to unfold.
“Do u guys follow me on snap chat? U really should,” she tweeted, adding a winky-face symbol at the end.
She also tweeted, “Theres a BIG difference between shading someone and speaking the truth!” – seemingly in reference to her outspoken defence of Kanye.
