It looks like Chinese Beliebers are going to miss out on seeing the singer this time round.
China bans Justin Bieber for bad behaviour

Chinese fans of pop sensation Justin Bieber may have to travel outside of their country if they want to catch the singer in action on his current world tour.

According to a statement posted on Beijing’s culture bureau’s website this week, the Canadian star isn’t welcome to perform in the People’s Republic because off his on, and off stage antics.

Officials clarified their reasons for the Bieber ban after a fan demanded a detailed response.

The bureau wrote: “Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer.

“As far as we are concerned, he has engaged in a series of bad behaviours, both in his social life and during a previous performance in China, which caused discontent among the public.

The “I’m sorry” hit-maker played shows in China in 2013 as part of his Believe tour.

And although Bieber’s no stranger to behaving in an odd way when on the road, he may have over-stepped the line during his previous visit to the country after he was pictured being carried up the Great Wall by his body guards.

While the Chinese leg of the Purpose tour looks like it’s on hold for now, the singer has scheduled shows in Asia later this year, with plans to perform in Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong.

It’s heartbreaking news for Chinese Beliebers, but the bureau says it hopes a visit in the future may be possible.

“We hope Justin Bieber is able to improve his conduct as he grows up and will once again find public favour.”
