Colour of the year
The year’s hottest hue is “radiant orchid”, a fresh blend of purple and pink. That’s according to the Pantone Color Institute, who comb the world looking for influences in everything from art to movies before deciding the on-trend shade. You’ll see radiant orchid in everything from homewares to fashion.

Neutrals
Subtle and professional, neutrals can still make a statement. They’re also an ideal base for nail art. Just be sure the polish finish is opaque, not sheer, and that the shade complements your skin tone.
