My beauty philosophy is... My clean eating approach has inspired me to “clean up” my skin and beauty products, by slowly replacing items with more natural alternatives.

The skincare products I can’t live without are... Cheap, basic and easy to use. I have been using Dove Soap and Olay Complete moisturiser on my face since my teenage years. I’ve tried expensive ranges, but my skin didn’t respond any better, and in some cases got worse. My first step to going natural was when I started to use coconut oil on my face as a night cream. It glides on like satin and feels absolutely amazing. I’ve also replaced a supermarket face scrub with a homemade natural alternative. I use 1 tbsp of ground oatmeal, ¼ tsp of rock salt and 1 tsp of water or coconut oil, mixed into a paste. I rub into my skin, leave for five minutes and rinse off.

My haircare secret is…Due to working out and sweating nearly every day, I’m constantly washing my hair. So, it’s a quick rub through with some Moroccanoil, then I tie it up in a bun or ponytail. If I’m going out, I’ll blow dry and run the ghds through for a more styled look.

The must-have products in my makeup bag are... I travel a lot, so keep toiletries minimal for ease and speed of packing. My everyday make-up routine involves touching up spots or redness on my face with The Body Shop Concealer and putting on some Eye Öf HÖrus Mascara. If I have time, I use Jane Iredale PurePressed Mineral Powder as my foundation base and The Body Shop Shimmer Wave as bronzer.

My favourite beauty treat is... Usually, just on my birthday, a three-hour Ayurveda Package at East Day Spa – massage, facial, mani and pedi.

My biggest beauty sin is... Lack of sleep. When I’m behind on my sleep, it makes my eyes look dull, my skin flat and, most of all, I get cranky – which is highly unattractive!

The best thing my mother taught me about beauty was...Always wear hand cream, keep your hands off your face, don’t pick at it, and wash your face before going to bed.
